Stories suspended in a minimalist atmosphere

Stories suspended in a minimalist atmosphere

White walls and windows, minimalist furnishings. In this apartment, the designer sought to create a cool, understated atmosphere with just a few accents to give the space character.
The choice of Londonart wallpaper therefore had to fall on subtle patterns that would complement the interior’s mood, yet at the same time feature an original detail and—as in the case of the wallpaper on the closet—help conceal what was actually hidden on the other side.
The “Plague” design, in its slightly desaturated “ReEdition 2022” variant, was therefore ideal for this purpose.
The cabinet doors blend into the vertical lines of the rope-inspired pattern, lending a sense of linearity to the wall.
In the TV area, the same design was used, but in the version featuring a different tree motif. This maintained chromatic continuity and the basic theme of the previous graphic, but with a different detail (namely, the tree).
Note the distinctive feature of this graphic in the lower section: the rope pattern does not extend all the way to the end of the installation area but stops short.
With this design choice, the ropes appear to move slightly, lending greater dynamism to the wall.
