Born in 2010, TOILETPAPER is a magazine created and produced by Maurizio Cattelan and the photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari. Since the publication of the first issue, TOILETPAPER has created a world that presents ambiguous narratives and a disturbing imagination, combining commercial photography with a twisted narrative and surrealist iconography. The result is a publication which is a work of art by itself, that, through the accessibility of the magazine format and wide distribution, challenges the limits of the economy of contemporary art.
