In the living room, bedroom, and bathroom, everything evokes the warm and welcoming atmosphere of Havana: from the materials used for the furnishings and accessories to the vintage objects and geometric textures and bright colors, all of which reflect the joyful and carefree atmosphere of the Romagna Riviera and contemporary design.
A creative suite, attentive to sustainability in its choices, in line with the philosophy of reuse typical of Cuban culture, but also emblematic of a sustainable approach in the name of “Second Hand.” The original concept was developed during a workshop at the School of Design of the Politecnico di Milano by Elisa Cattaneo, Benedetta Franci, Rolando Antonio Escobar Hidalgo, Elisa Panizza, and Erika Spanu, under the guidance and coordination of professors Cinzia Pagni, Elena Elgani, Francesco Scullica, and Federico Salmaso, who collaborated on the supplementary teaching.
The project was then developed by the Design Department of the Politecnico di Milano with Francesco Scullica as research manager and the involvement of Claudia Borgonovo, Elena Elgani, Cinzia Pagni, and Federico Salmaso.
